  1. Thanks for the latest on treating road rash. This is a real problem for us 40+ riders because the skin just doesn’t heal as fast as it did before. Could you add the names of the products you mentioned in ths show notes? One way to help prevent road rash, besides the advice my wife gives me (DFD), is to wear baseball sliding shorts under your lycra, at least on training rides. Being a mountain biker at heart, I also wear elbow pads whenever I ride. In the dirt, it’s much easier for me to cover my main contact points of the knees, hips, elbows, and the back of the shoulder with knee pads, sliding shorts, elbow pads, and backpack straps. One question: If leg shaving is to help reduce the intensity of the road rash and isn’t just a clic thing, why don’t roadies also shave their arms?

  2. Thanks for the indepth explanation of exactly what Floyd’s test results are about and the test itself … it would have been nice if the mainstream media was so indepth in it’s reporting.
