Outdoor Retailer Winter Market came to Salt Lake City again in January, and as usual The FredCast was there. This year we recorded a brief video with a Flip Mino HD camera and here is the result.

In case you’re wondering, yes I did make it back from the Alps. And yes, I made it up every climb on the trip, even in my double-ring set-up. For what it’s worth, we climbed:

- Col de Aravis
- Col des Saissies
- Col de la Madeleine
- Col du Telegraphe
- Col de Galibier
- Alpe d’Huez
The trip was spectacular, with good food and wine, excellent company, and a tour company that knows how to treat cyclists right. I can’t wait to announce the dates of next year’s trip.
Of course, vacations can be both a blessing and a curse. I have tons of photos and videos, and lots to tell you about the trip, but the day job and my family come first. I’ll be traveling this week and hope to get some work done including a podcast and a video or two. In the meantime, I’ve posted some of the photos online already, so go check them out on Smug Mug.
