  5. Dave – Thanks for the information on BikesFGS. They seem to be focused more on the West Coast. For those on the East Coast or other areas, check out Pedals for Progress at http://www.p4p.org/. They collect and ship bikes internationally to help those who need to get around. Plus, they encourage the starting of local bike shops to maintain the donated bikes. Either way, both are great organizations.
