  2. Good riding on your trip.

    Keep the rubber on the road and the shiny thing, well I guess off the road as it were…not sure how I lost control of that.

    BTW: the feedback on saddle sores had me laughing out loud…and then crying and then feeling more informed. I knock on wood that I haven’t had any real big issues with saddle sores lately, however when I was riding 40-60 miles a day I never had an issue, but now that I don’t get to ride as much or as often, I seem to get some irritation…guess the skin down there isn’t as tough as before.

    I tried some of the creams but I have sensitive skin in general and always seem to end up with a very irritated “crevass” as it were. I even have a nice pair of descente shorts that I can’t really wear for long because I guess the cream is embeded in the chamois.

    So after all that, my question…is there any good detergent to use to 1) clean out the cream residue; 2) return the chamois/short material back to its anti-bacterial prowess? The shorts aren’t that old, maybe 6 months old…and at 150 buckolas, not ready to relegate them to relegate them to pajamas just yet (what am I the only one that sleeps in them? well color me silly!)

    Thanks for the enjoyable podcast!

  3. David, I believe you omitted women’s ITT from the Olympic results report. I hope you’ll give gold medal winner, American, Kristin Armstrong her due in the next podcast. ;-}

    Keep up the great work, hope you are enjoying the Alps.
