The Agony of Defeat

I know you’re tired of excuses, but . . .

I planned to do a show this afternoon as a prelude to the Amgen Tour of California. The plan was to ski a few hours, then come home and do a FredCast/Daily Tour episode.

The ski slopes had something else in store for me. I crashed on the first run of the day, turning my face into hamburger (think Robert Deniro as Jake LeMotta in Raging Bull) and fracturing my thumb. Most likely, I will require surgery.
