Here is a quick video I produced from my recent test ride in Montreal, using the Bixi Bike Share system. And yes, I enjoyed the ride!

    What is that rack on the front of the bike?

    It is just that . . . a rack. Useful for putting your backpack, purse, book bag, shopping bag, newspaper, baguette, etc. At the base of the rack is a plate that is part of the Bixi system’s unique locking mechanism. It inserts into any Bixi docking station, thereby locking the bike into the docking station until someone else comes along and enters the appropriate code.
