    You could get a citation according to this story. A man got a $50 citation for using a strobe device to change traffic lights in his favor.

    I can’t see him getting a citation for doing this. The strobe guy was using the same system that emergency services uses to switch the lites. This is just about getting the sensors under the road to detect you. The same thing they do with the cars. So if this was the case everyone on the road should get a ticket for driving a hunk of metal that sets of the sensors.
