This week’s episode of The FredCast Cycling Podcast features a discussion of Sports Illustrated’s ‘Case Against Lance Armstrong.’ Perhaps in contrast, the show also includes information that the Spanish Cycling Federation has recommended a one year suspension for Alberto Contador as a result of his positive Clenbuterol test during the 2010 Tour de France. This will inevitably lead to the awarding of the Tour victory to Andy Schleck, formerly of Saxo Bank now with Leopard-Trek Team.

Also in this week’s show: AVG study shows that kids learn computer skills before the ability to ride a bike, tie shoes or perform other ‘life skills.’ The White Sands Missile Range will be open to cyclists for one day only, a NASA Astronaut loses a spot on shuttle mission due to bike accident, bike thieves target the Australian Open, Dallas Police replace 10-year-old’s stolen bike, Carla Swart killed in a tragic accident, and Floyd Landis retires (yawn).

Black Friday at JensonUSA

It’s Thanksgiving here in the U.S. and that can only mean one thing: shopping! The day after Thanksgiving has become known as Black Friday, not because of the recent release of the new Harry Potter movie, but because it is traditionally the first day of the year that retailers’ books are in the black.

Many brick-and-mortar retailers offer great discounts and deals on Black Friday, while online retailers offer their discounts on Cyber Monday (the Monday following Thanksgiving).

Our friends at JensonUSA just leaked the link to their Black Friday page showing all of the products that will be discounted. The prices shown are already low, but when you check out the site on Friday, I am told they will be even lower!

Meanwhile, JensonUSA also just leaked some amazing deals that begin now, include Black Friday, and go all the way through midnight on Cyber Monday. The deals are so good, that I just had to let you know about them. They include:

Happy Thanksgiving, and Happy Shopping!!
